Winter Market @ the Phipps

flowers and bread and cookies and cakes andā¦
The Hudson Farmers Market on Carmichael reached out to the Phipps recently with a little problem: ITāS COLD OUTSIDE!
Luckily, itās less cold in the Phipps, so we agreed to host their Winter Market in our lobbies from 10am to 2pm on Jan 25, Feb 1 & 8, and March 15 & 29 (29th will end at 1pm).
The first one was this past Saturday, and it was so much fun to see the community out and about, grabbing some farmers market goods, hopefully also thinking āwow, this place is cool. maybe I should take a class or buy a ticket or make a very, very large and recurring donation.ā š
Swing by one of these Saturdays and check it out!

first dog to play the puzzle game
If youāve ever thought to yourself, āI wonder if a dog can play the Phipps puzzle gameā welp, todayās your lucky day.
He didnāt finish in record time, but he was, nevertheless, such a good boy.

One Hilarious Weekend

this gent brought the funny
Hereās a shot I took from my perch while running lights for this weekendās performance of Kick the Bucket List (yes, I run lights sometimes; you should too).
This fun crew nearly sold out the entire weekend and produced non-stop laughs from the crowd I was a part of. Hopefully you caught one of these two shows.
āBen, whatās with the palm trees?ā
Ssssshhhhhhhhh. Just go with it, gentle reader.
I went with a few friends to something called Full Tilt Tavern in Bloomington this weekend. Itās essentially Chuck E. Cheese if you took away the animatronic animal band and replaced it with pull tabs. Anyway, hereās a video of my wife and I playing a gigantic Pac-Man game. As you can see, Amanda doesnāt take Pac-Man nearly as seriously as she should. Weāre gonna talk about it. š¹š¹
